The Vienna Poker Festival 2019

In the spring of 2019, another top poker event will take place at the Montesino and many participating casinos. The Vienna Poker Festival will take place from 26 February to 11 March 2019 at the Montesino.

€ 400,000 are guaranteed at the main event, the buy-in is € 440. The winner will get at least € 80,000. Altogether, € 550,000 is guaranteed at the Vienna Poker Festival.

In addition to the Main Event, the Opening Event and the Highroller Event, the Vienna Poker Festival also offers a Pot Limit Omaha tournament and many satellites.

The qualification for the Vienna Poker Festival will be possible live in many casinos throughout Austria.

Warm-Up

The Vienna Poker Festival Warm-Up will provide the kick off from 28 February for the Vienna Poker Festival. At this event, the guaranteed prize pool is € 100,000. The buy-in is € 175. The players receive 50,000 chips in return, the levels last 30 minutes. One re-entry is possible, with a play-off down to 10 % of the participant field on the starting days. The late registration runs until the end of level eight. The min cash is € 350.

3rd Chance Freeroll promotion: All players who played on Thursday and Friday and who did not qualify for the final can play the flight on Saturday at 2 pm for free.

The final will take place on 3 March at 2 pm at the Montesino.

Whoever qualifies twice for the Warm-Up at the Vienna Poker Festival will collect a great bonus for each double qualification. A double qualification at the Vienna Poker Festival Warm-Up will fetch € 1,000. The higher stack will advance to the finals.

Main Event

The preliminary round of the Main Event will start on 3 March with the Phase 1 tournaments. These offer a qualification with a buy-in of € 48. The players receive 10,000 chips in return, the levels last 12 minutes at the Turbo tournament and 20 minutes at the regular tournament. One re-entry is possible.

Day 1 of the Main Event will then start on 6 March. The buy-in is € 440. The players receive 100,000 chips in return. The levels last 30 minutes and increase to 45 minutes on Day 2, and to 60 minutes in the final. One re-entry is possible, with a play-off down to 10 % of the participant field on the starting days. The late registration is possible until the end of level nine. The Mincash is € 1,000.

All remaining players will take their chip count into Day 2 of the Main Event. Day 2 will start on 10 March - altogether 10 levels will be played on the starting days. Altogether, four starting days with nine flights are offered.

The final will be played on 11 March at 3 pm at the Montesino.

A double qualification at the Vienna Poker Festival Main Event will fetch € 3,000. The higher stack will advance to the finals.

PLO Event

On Saturday, 6 March, the Vienna Poker Festival PLO Event will start at 6 pm.

The buy-in is € 275. The players receive 50,000 chips in return, the levels last 30 minutes and increase to 40 minutes on Day 2. € 50,000 are guaranteed. The late registration is possible until the end of level eleven.

Day 2 will take place on Thursday, 7 March at 5 pm.

Highroller Event

The second EinKa tournament will take place at the Montesino from 7 to 8 March 2019 within the Vienna Poker Festival.

The buy-in is € 1,000; (€ 930 + € 70), for this, the players receive 100,000 chips. This tournament is played 8-handed. The levels last 30 minutes, a re-entry is possible. The start time is 6 pm. BB Ante will be played. The late registration runs until the end of level eleven.

The Highroller Satellite

On Tuesday, 6 March 2019, a satellite will take place at the Montesino at 7 pm. The buy-in is € 115, a re-entry is possible for € 100. The players will receive 20,000 chips, the levels last 25 minutes. Five tickets for the EinKa II are guaranteed.
